Bünder causes accident under the influence of alcohol

(jd) On Saturday (April 5), a 20-year-old man from Bünde was driving his BMW on Schinkenstraße in the direction of Molkenkeller at 11.15 pm. He veered off the road to the left and collided with a kerb in the area of a driveway. The car then came to a halt in the hedge of the property. The accident caused damage to property in the four-figure range and the man from Bünde was slightly injured. The police officers called to the scene noticed clear signs of alcohol consumption in the 20-year-old, which is why he was taken to the Bünder police station to have a blood sample taken. During the accident investigation, the man from Bünde was initially verbally aggressive towards the officers. He then resisted and also physically assaulted the officers. The man from Bünde now has to answer for endangering road traffic and resisting law enforcement officers. The man's driving license was confiscated and he was banned from driving vehicles requiring a driving license.
